开云集团Sothebys Auctions Lots of Kweichow Moutai with Highest Estimate Bid Price Being 160,000 per Bott

Feb.24 — From Feb.20 to Mar.3, Sothebys Hong Kong auctions 213 lots of spirits from Japan, Scotland, France, and China, including several cases of Kweichou Moutai, Japanese whisky, and Scotch whisky during its first online auction of spirits this year.

Among them, the edition that commemorates the 10th anniversary of Macaus return to the motherland was estimated at 110,000 to 160,000 HKD/bottle（the highest）, according to Red Star News.

This batch of Kweichow Moutai includes the Kweichou Flying Fairy Precious Moutai 2022, Kweichouw Moutai Cira 1983-1986, Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy 2022 and Kweichow Moutai Five Star Year of the Tiger 2022, etc.

It is learned is not the first time Sothebys has auctioned Kweichou Moutai. In 2021, Sothebys London auctioned 24 bottles of the 1974 edition Kweichou Moutai for a record-breaking 1 million GBP.
